Hometown: raised around the United States, living in Denver CO, Cleveland OH, Midwest City OK, and Rockville MD. He has spent the past 20 years in Berkeley.

Yoni G paints impressionist landscapes and scenes from his urban homestead and life in Berkeley, California using acrylic paints or on the computer. Yoni received a bachelor's in landscape architecture from the University of Maryland and has taken art classes at CCA, Merritt and Laney college.

Yoni's latest work includes digitally painted portraits of his backyard chickens, California native plants, acrylic painted scenes from backpacking in Yosemite, and produce from his garden.  

Malcolm X Elementary school in Berkeley selected his illustration of the school building in 90’s neon colors for their t-shirt contest for the 2024/2025 school year.
Yoni G. is a singer/songwriter with two full length albums available online and plays mandolin in the pirate band Captain D and the Skallywags.
