Join in a community celebration on Shattuck & Rose in North Berkeley is hosting free live music, exceptional wines, craft beers, tasty eats, artisan vendors, family activities, and more. One block will be closed to traffic to allow room for dancing, games, vendors, and gathering spaces.

Bring your dancing shoes for live music: Urban Reggae music by Rankin Scroo, North African grooves by Terga, Berkley High Jazz, and The Zesty Lemons.

Sample California wines and regional craft beers or enjoy a full bar with a block party specialty cocktail, the Cherry Bomb: Shasta Black Cherry, Kentucky Straight Bourbon, Club Soda, Marinated Cherry, Lime.

Neighborhood restaurants Kamado Sushi and The Local Butcher Shop will be serving from pop-ups streetside or you can explore the many exquisite options the neighborhood has to offer.

Local vendors will be showcasing their handmade wares, arts, and crafts. Bring your friends, family, pups, and neighbors, and join in on the fun. Enjoy family entertainment, face painting, and interactive lawn games entertained all ages throughout the day.

While you're in the neighborhood, feel free to spend time in the North Shattuck business district which comprises world-famous eateries, board game cafes, boutique shops, butcher shops, cheesemongers, bottle shops, art galleries, and more.

This free community event offers adult beverages as a fundraiser for the North Shattuck Association.

GETTING THERE

The Block Party is about the same distance (approx. 1 mile) from either the North Shattuck BART station or the Downtown BART station. Here is a link to the Bart planner www.bart.gov/planner as well as a map below. You can take the bus to Shattuck Pl & Rose St. Use the AC Transit trip planner website to plan your route. There is bike parking in the area and the district is highly walkable.
